Day 1: The hardest part, pulling up the existing flooring, including boards with a nail every 6 inches.Day 2: Sanding the floor, went through a few belts and had to fashion one to finish the job.Day 3: Sanding finishedDay 3: The hall is cleaned ready for the next week’s bookings Day 4: A re-clean (Lorna Baker hard at work) ready for the varnish Day 6: The 1st coat of varnish(done in 2 hours on day 5) is dry and the hall is ready for use.
