The hall will be open as a polling station for the 6th May Local Elections.The hall will then re-open for socially distanced events of up to 15 people from 17th May (assuming the lockdown easing roadmap is kept to schedule.)

The Hall has been successful in obtaining further funding.The Cornwall Council Community Fund have granted us funds towards a purchase of a further set of safety compliant folding chairs. Our thanks to Dorothy Kirk for her help with this.South West Water has given us funding to replace the window in the lower hall which has a rotting frame and loose pane. After a busy and successful 2019 that saw an uptake in bookings and multiple improvements made to the property including; new floor; Wifi; painting of the railings and a freshening up of the kitchen we are looking to continue this trend into 2020. We are currently in the process of applying for major funding to resolve the issue with the heating, replacing the condemned gas system, we will also be looking at having solar panels fitted to make the building
